It seems the purpose of this blog has, once again, changed. While I will still do posts about running and my journey toward being a true runner, I feel compelled to add a layer. I think its important to also discuss my journey toward becoming healthy. After all...that's why I started running in the first place.
A while ago, I picked up the book "Made to Crave" by Lysa Terkeurst. It had been recommended by a couple of friends so I thought I'd check it out. Right away, it spoke to me - like - DIRECTLY to me.
Typical of my nature, I'd been dancing around it, putting off getting started on it. The problem is that I've been called to it more and more, with a voice that has gotten more and more insistent...and loud. For me, that's God speaking. For you, it might be something else - and that's ok. For me, whenever I ignore God's voice, it comes back to bite me later. So - I started listening.
I've created a page here where I will journal my thoughts and answers to some of the questions at the end of the chapters if you would like to take this journey with me. In addition, I'll add posts to the blog itself about things that really stand out. That way, if you don't want to read the whole journal, you can still benefit from the wisdom in this book.
After all, we can't just change physically, we have to also change spiritually and mentally to be successful.
